When the lead attaches at the chest and your dog pulls forward, the front clip turns them softly back towards you, interrupting the forward momentum without any discomfort. This makes pulling far less rewarding and easier to correct, gradually encouraging your dog to walk calmly by your side. It is a kind, effective method favoured for training and for everyday walks with dogs that pull. Combined with patient, consistent lead training, a front-clip harness like the Eton helps transform a pulling dog into a calm, pleasant walking companion over time.

</details>

<details>

Is a front-clip or back-clip harness better?

Both have their place, and the best choice depends on your dog. A front-clip harness is generally better for dogs that pull, as the chest attachment redirects them and discourages pulling, offering more steering control, which makes it excellent for training. A back-clip harness, with the attachment on the back, is comfortable and ideal for calm walkers and small dogs that do not pull heavily. Many harnesses, and many owners, benefit from having both options: the front clip for training and stronger control, and the back clip for relaxed walks once a dog walks nicely. For a dog that pulls, the front clip is usually the more effective starting point.

</details>

<details>

Are padded vest harnesses comfortable for dogs?

Padded vest harnesses are among the most comfortable options for dogs, particularly for everyday wear and longer walks. The cushioned, vest-style design spreads pressure across a wider area of the chest and body rather than concentrating it on narrow straps, which is gentler and prevents rubbing or chafing. This makes them especially suitable for dogs that pull, as the force is distributed comfortably, and for dogs who wear their harness regularly. Breathable padded materials also help keep the dog cool. The Eton's padded vest design combines this comfort with no-pull front-clip control, offering both a kind fit and effective, easy management on walks.

</details>

<details>

How should a no-pull harness fit?

A no-pull harness should fit snugly but comfortably to work effectively. Measure your dog's chest girth at the widest point behind the front legs, and their neck, then choose the size accordingly, sizing up if between sizes. Use the adjustment points to tailor the fit: the harness should sit securely so your dog cannot slip out, yet allow you to fit two fingers between the straps and their body, without restricting the shoulders or legs. A correctly fitted harness distributes pressure properly and allows full, comfortable movement. Check the fit regularly, especially for growing dogs, to ensure both comfort and the effective, gentle control a no-pull harness is designed to give.

</details>

🚚 Free delivery — UK & Europe
🎯 Front-clip no-pull
☁️ Padded vest comfort
✋ Control handle
📦 1–2 business days

Give yourself gentle, easy control and your companion the comfort to enjoy every step.
Dog Harness Eton Front-Clip — kind no-pull guidance and all-day padded comfort, for the walks you share side by side.

Vibe & Co.
