Will the RyDeCar fit my car — I have a smaller model with a compact back seat?

Yes. The RyDeCar is designed for universal fit across all car models, including smaller compact cars. The included seatbelt allows you to adjust the cover's positioning and tension to suit the specific dimensions of your rear seat — tightening or loosening until the cover lies flat and secure. In very small cars where the back seat depth is significantly less than 147 cm, the cover folds neatly against the back of the front seats, still providing full protection for the surface beneath your curious soul.

My dog tends to scratch and dig at the seat during the journey — will the RyDeCar protect against this?

Yes. The Oxford 600D outer fabric is significantly more resistant to scratching than standard fabric or leather car seats. Dogs who dig, circle or paw at the surface before settling will find the RyDeCar's weave resists surface abrasion far better than the seat beneath it. The cover takes the wear so the seat does not have to.
